Do not use this form for emergencies. If you are in an emergency, call 911 right away. Emergencies may include things like fire, medical emergency, life-threatening situations, and crimes in progress.
Anonymity
- If you want to stay anonymous, do not share identifying information like your name, race, ethnicity, gender, address, or phone number.
- When you send a report to HearMeWA, we don't look at information like your IP address or caller ID. The only time we would ever use this information is in extremely serious situations where we believe someone is in immediate danger of being seriously harmed. This could be things like a suicide attempt, a planned violent attack, or a shooting. These situations are very rare.
- Information you share about yourself, someone else, or your IP address or caller ID (in those rare circumstances, like described above) will be used to help address the issue you are reporting.
- If you want us to delete your identifying information from your tip submission, email infohearmewa@atg.wa.gov or call 833-398-0179. Identifying information includes your name, race, ethnicity, gender, address, and phone number.
- Please note that identifying information shared in tips that relate to active legal matters, including an open court case or an active Public Records Request to which they may be responsive, cannot be deleted from the system until the related legal matter is closed.
- Your tip submission is a public record. This means that all or parts of your tip submission may be disclosed in response to a Public Records Request. To learn how we protect your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
How Your Information is Shared
- HearMeWA crisis counselors are mandated reporters, which means that if they believe that a child (under 18) is at risk of child abuse or neglect as defined by law, they are required by law (RCW 26.44.030) to make a report to law enforcement or the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).
- Information you submit to HearMeWA may be shared with school officials, law enforcement, DCYF or behavioral health providers.
- We make no guarantees regarding the examination or action taken by school officials, law enforcement, DCYF or behavioral health officials in response to the information you submit.
- Although we use tools to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that it will be 100% secure or delivered on time.
Improper Use
- Do not use this form to make threats or provide false information. Per RCW 9A.84.040, intentionally providing false information to the program may lead to prosecution.

This information submission system is provided to the public for the purpose of anonymously reporting known or suspected suspicious or criminal activity which has occurred, or may occur. Follow-up
A code will be issued to you when you submit your information. This code can be used to check on the status of a report or to answer follow-up questions about the information that you submit. You will also be able to upload additional images using this code. To follow-up on a report you can log in to our site later using a code and password that will be assigned to you automatically after you submit your information. Due to the high volume of information that is received, the recipient may be unable to reply to every submission.
Submission and Disposition
Although we utilize physical, electronic and administrative safeguards, including industry standard encryption, due to the nature of the Internet and SMS delivery networks, we do not guarantee 100% security or timely delivery or reception of the submitted information. We do not guarantee or assume any responsibility for if, how or when any submitted information may be reviewed or acted upon by law enforcement or public safety official. Because information that you submit may not be monitored by such parties on a regular basis, you should not use this service to report events presenting an immediate danger to life or property or which otherwise constitute an emergency as such reports may not receive an immediate response.
