Safe2Say Something is a school safety anonymous reporting system. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” before it is too late. The system is anonymous so it's easy and completely confidential to report safety concerns to help prevent violence and tragedies. Here’s how it works: Submit an anonymous tip report through the Safe2Say  Something app, website or phone number Crisis center analysts review, assess and process all submissions Crisis center sends all submissions to school administration and/or law enforcement via 911 dispatch for intervention If needed, a crisis center analyst may contact you through anonymous live chat for more information on a tip   You may also call in your anonymous tip directly by calling our hotline. 1-844-SAF2SAY (723-2729) What to Report: Safe2Say Something allows you to submit secure and anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene with at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. You can do this by reporting observed threats, behaviors, actions, and harassment. Here are some examples of common behaviors and incidents to report: Assault Abuse (physical, verbal) Bullying or regular intimidation Bragging about an upcoming planned attack Depression, anxiety, or loss of self-control Fighting Gun violence / violence Harassment Hopelessness, excessive guilt or worthlessness Reckless behavior Social isolation or withdrawal Substance abuse Suicide threats, cutting, or other self-harm Theft Threats Weapons (use of and/or discussion about)
